Step To Your Health

Over 50% of Australians do not do sufficient exercise to stay healthy, and of those, 15% do no exercise at all!  As a result, Australia has one of the highest rates of obesity.

Regular exercise, plus an increase in “incidental” activity can greatly improve employees’ health. WFR’s Step To Your Health challenge encourages participants to get 10,000 steps per day; all that is needed to maintain a healthy status.

Each participant wears a pedometer, and in a team of four, competes against other teams to get the most steps over this six week challenge. Step To Your Health is offered in April each year and is delivered over a 6 week period.

Onsite visits are not required, making the challenge an ideal campaign for businesses with employees situated at multiple locations.
