Warm Up 4 Work

Encouraging exercises for physical prepardness for work tasks

Warm Up 4 Work is designed to encourage the workforce to undertake a daily routine of physical preparedness for their job role. This compliance will be achieved via training, group stretch sessions and workplace posters.

As part of the Warm Up 4 Work program, customised posters are developed containing specific stretches of the work group based on major muscle groups used during high risk tasks.

‘Stretch leaders’ can also be identified to assist in the uptake and sustainability of the Warm Up 4 Work Program. At the completion of the Stretch Leader training the participants will feel confident in coordinating and delivering the stretching session on a routine basis, and identify high risk work behaviours that may result in musculoskeletal injuries.
